We were asked to replace the fencing, pedestrian gate and the manual vehicle gate to the front elevation of the school, with new fencing and gates to improve the security and appearance of the school.
The new vehicle gate was to be decorative, automatic and to be controlled from the school reception.
The vehicle gate design, was a bespoke design that was developed between the school and harling security to reflect the school’s logo and to enhance the appearance of the school.
The gate was manufactured as a sliding gate so that it would open without restricting or reducing the parking area. The fencing and pedestrian gate was supplied in a heavy duty twin wire mesh, with the pedestrian gate manually operated.
The vehicle gate was fully automated, with intercom for visitors, remote fobs for staff which allows them to operate the gate from within their vehicles. The gate was also installed with a timer for the gate to remain open during the main busy periods of staff arriving in the morning and leaving in the evening.
The gate was fitted with an exit loop, to enable any vehicle to exit without contacting the reception. The gate is also fitted with a fire brigade switch to allow emergency access at all times if required.
